Things to Do, Winter -
Full Moon Cross Country Ski in Ironton Park sponsored by the Nordic Ski Council (meet in Ironton Park)
Groomed Cross Country Skiing/Snowshoeing (free, donations accepted): Top of the Pines (Ridgway area) and Ironton Park - Nordic Ski Council (Ouray/Red Mountain Pass area)
Ice Skating at Rotary Park in Ouray (Skate Rentals are $5 at the Ouray Hot Springs), noon to 9 pm. 970-325-7073, www.ci.ouray.co.us
Ice Climbing/Spectating at Ouray Ice Park in Ouray.
Teach children to ski/snowboard at Lee's Ski Hill (free, rope tow) in the City of Ouray. Noon to 5pm weekends and holidays. 3:30 - 5pm school days.
Sled at Vinegar Hill (free) in the City of Ouray, east side of town between Fifth and Sixth Avenue.
Soak in natural hot springs: City of Ouray Hot Springs Pool (11 am - 9 pm weekends/ noon - 9 pm weekdays) or at Orvis Hot Springs between Ridgway and Ouray.
